Winter Solstice JUST happened. This time of year always causes me to pause and reflect for several days on where I've been, how far I've come, and where I want to go. I do a few different closure exercises and rituals- one of which I'm sharing here today.

As you probably know, it's important to create space. Space in the energy fields supports growth, wellness, awareness, and connectivity.
Release the old. Welcome the new!
Look back on the joy and the ache- celebrate and release!!
Open up to the new year. Start to remember your future.
Here's What You Can Do:
Get a fresh blank journal
Get cozy and give yourself an hour
Create an outline of the months with space below each
Below each month, write Celebrate and Release with space between
So here is an example:
I usually do three things, but sometimes the lines are full of memories, thoughts, feelings. Really move with the emotions that come up. Allow the joy to wash over you, and the pain to be washed away.

- look back through photos on your phone for fun memories
- refer back to your journals for the deeper insights
- scan your calendar for hints about what you were up to
After completing the journaling exercise, I also looked back on my list of goals for the year of 2017. WOW.
I FINALLY managed to integrate my plan to move and meditate Daily in November. It seriously took me ALL year! But- it was a longterm goal- and I've made it. My life looks SO different. As a result, my mind is open to receiving so much MORE insight and inspiration. I can FEEL that I'm moving into a more consistent place of flow, and I'd love for you to have that in your life too.
