Thoughts: I woke up unsettled and emotional. My feelings can be a bit crippling at times. My dedication to challenging myself to meditate daily is what got me going today- only after about an hour of procrastination and stagnation within me.
Focus: I did five deep breaths in and out slowly. I immediately when to my heart chakra, because I can feel the source of the angst resting there. I was able to observe myself, and the situations causing the emotional discomfort. I find that this process of meditating, breathing, and stepping outside of myself is really helping me understand my day to day fluctuations. I hope to one day be absolutely steady, unwavering in my knowledge of what drives me and what deeply impacts my being. Perhaps this exercise is therapeutic in nature. Anyone can benefit from meditation and dedication to one's self.
Wisdom: Awareness is half the battle.
